Why are DU 6th and 8th Semester results released before 2nd and 4th Semester?
I\'ve noticed that Delhi University usually declares the final semester results before the lower semesters. Is there an official reason for this? Does DU follow a fixed order while publishing semester results, or does it depend on the evaluation process?

Yes, there's a practical reason behind it. Delhi University generally gives priority to 6th and 8th Semester students because many of them need their results for postgraduate admissions, competitive exams, placements and degree issuance.
Students in the 2nd and 4th Semester usually continue into the next semester, so their results aren't as time-sensitive. That's why final semester results are often released first.
